The Twelfth "Panpan Food Cup" Bakery Creative Contest Campus Presentation was successfully held

In order to carry forward the characteristics of the college, advocate a healthy and beautiful life, at the same time, to stimulate the innovation vitality of food major students, and demonstrate professional skills, the Chinese Association of Food Science and Technology and Fujian Panpan Food Co., Ltd. jointly hold the 12th Panpan Food Cup Baked Food Creativity Competition, the Jilin University presentation meeting of this competition was successfully held at 12:20 noon on April 28, in the meeting room on the third floor of the Food Building of Heping Campus. Deputy Dean of the School of Food Science and Engineering, professor Sun Chunyan, Associate Professor Zhao Changhui, Teacher Ma Shuang, and other teacher representatives, as well as some undergraduates and graduate students, attended the presentation.

At the beginning of the presentation, the teachers and students watched video promotional materials of the competition, and learned through "Students' Contest Messages", "Introduction to Chinese Association of Food Science and Technology", etc., about the work condition, academic exchanges, important functions, publications and various student innovation competitions held by Chinese Association of Food Science and Technology, and had a richer understanding of the significance of the competition.

Subsequently, Deputy Dean of the School of Food Science and Engineering, professor Sun Chunyan gave a presentation on the 2021 Panpan Food Cup Baked Food Creative Competition. Sun Chunyan gave detailed guidance around the theme of the competition, competition requirements, schedule and so on. She said that this competition is a good opportunity and a good platform for every student to improve their professionalism and innovation ability. She hopes that students will actively register for the competition, give full play to their professional advantages, work through teamwork, and stand out in the competition and win honors, to contributes creativity and inspiration to the development of the food industry of our country.

Subsequently, the college's award-winning instructor Associate Professor Zhao Changhui and the award-winning student representative Li Jiangfei shared their experience around product creative design, plan writing, technical difficulties, food safety testing and other content. The teachers and students benefited a lot from their speech.

Finally, teacher Ma Shuang gave a key explanation of the competition rules. She explained the requirements of the Panpan Food Cup Baked Food Creative Competition in terms of competition direction, competition theme, qualifications, reward mechanism, and competition system. She hopes that the students would scale new heights and achieve better results in the competition.

After the presentation, the students communicated with the teachers on the content of product creative design, professional technical difficulties, etc., so that the students had a more comprehensive and clear understanding of the competition.
